Welcome to the Book & Board Library Lounge! We have a collection of board games you can play while enjoying refreshments in Downtown Library's new cafe space. This month's featured game is Marvel Dice Throne.
Marvel Dice Throne is a fast-paced, dice-based combat game featuring iconic Marvel characters, perfect for LibCon. Each player chooses one of four characters (Scarlet Witch, Thor, Loki or Spider-Man) and strive to beat their opponents in one-on-one duels, team battles, or epic free-for-alls. Use your hero’s unique dice to attack other players or activate special abilities. Accumulate combat points and spend them on powerful cards that can grant your hero permanent upgrades, apply status effects, or thwart your opponents’ plans.
LibCon is Chandler Public Library’s month-long celebration of the pop culture stories that unite us all. This year’s theme is Heroes & Villains and we have programs for all ages at all four library locations. Learn more.
Marvel Dice Throne is a dice/card battler for 2 to 4 players ages 8 and up. The average play time is 30 minutes.
