Summer Reading suggestions

Summer Reading is on! Kids, teens, and adults can read to earn prizes and raffle tickets, now through August 1. Create your account online and log your minutes as you read. Wondering what to read? Check out some staff suggestions!

This year's Summer Reading Challenge theme is "Oceans of Possibilities," so we've got lots of ocean-related book suggestions. Check out our lists for ages 0-5, kids, teens, and adults. But you're not limited to reading about oceans. You can read (or listen to) anything - books, audiobooks, magazines and newspapers, too! Our Books page has lots more resources to help you find things to read, including lists on various topics, links to our CloudLibrary ebooks, and tools like NoveList and Books & Authors that help you find new things to read. There are even more resources on our Adults, Teens, Kids, and Age 0-5 pages!

Still need ideas? Check out our BookMatch service. Let us know what you like to read, and a librarian will respond within 7 days with some personalized suggestions! Interested in more of a grab bag approach? Request a Bag of Books - let us know what reading level you want and we'll pull a variety of books so you can try something new!

Don't forget you can always come in to the library and we can find you something to read! And check out our calendar of special summer events! It's all at chandlerlibrary.org/src
