Rachelle’s Reads: The Atlas Complex

Chandler Public Library Director Rachelle Kuzyk reads the conclusion to a viral hit series for her book review segment this month.

If you’ve been reading the Atlas Six novels by Olivie Blake, you’ll be pleased to know that the trilogy (plus its prequel) wraps up with The Atlas Complex. Readers have either a love or a hate relationship with the series, so not everyone will be excited about this release. A tale of fantasy that combines magic, mystery, and romance, Blake’s work will appeal to mature teen and adult fans of Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, and The Maze Runner.

The Alexandrian Society, caretakers of lost knowledge from the greatest civilizations of antiquity, are the foremost secret society of magical academicians in the world. Those who earn a place among the Alexandrians will secure a life of wealth, power and prestige beyond their wildest dreams, and each decade, only the six most uniquely talented magicians are selected to be considered for initiation. Six are chosen, but only five advance. With the Library of Alexandria featured prominently as the backdrop for the dark, otherworldly academia, the cast of morally questionable characters engage in a dangerous game of survival in which only their unique talents can keep them alive.

To fully apppreciate Blake’s story, be sure to read The Atlas Six and The Atlas Paradox, both viral BookTok hits, before jumping into the final book. Visit any one of Chandler Public Library’s four locations or find us online at www.chandlerlibrary.org to reserve your copy today. Happy reading!
