Our first-floor cafe and game space is outfitted with reading nooks, game tables, a gaming console, and a reservable private game room, the Dragon's Den. With more than 150 board games to choose from, plus an additional 30 games on a digital gaming table, you can plan an old favorite or embark on a new game adventure for the first time.
We’ve got an exciting new announcement – our board game collection is now available for checkout! Chandler Library cardholders can check out one game at a time for seven days. Check out and return in the Book & Board Lounge. Come in to browse our collection and see what’s available for you to take home! (Sorry, no holds or renewals. First come first served.) With choices including the popular gateway game Carcassonne, the humorous card game Munchkin, the kids’ game First Orchard, and more, we can guarantee we have something for you!
Book & Board Library Lounge is open during regular hours at the Downtown Chandler Library, closing 30 minutes before the library closes. Thanks to the Library Board and Friends of Chandler Public Library for their support of Book & Board Library Lounge.
