New at your library: Book & Board Library Lounge

A new cafe and game space is now open at the Chandler Downtown Library

Ready to play? Chandler Public Library hopes so. Our new cafe and game space, Book & Board Library Lounge, is now open at the Downtown Library! Located on the first floor, Book & Board Library Lounge is outfitted with reading nooks, game tables, a gaming console and a reservable private game room, the Dragon's Den. With more than 150 board games to choose from, plus an additional 30 games on a digital gaming table, you can plan an old favorite or embark on a new game adventure for the first time. Whether you’re a novice and never played a game before or an expert-level connoisseur, we can guarantee we have something for you!

To keep players’ stamina up, Book & Board Library Lounge will also sell coffee, soda and snacks. Your purchases in Book & Board go directly to Friends of Chandler Public Library, which in turn helps fund Library programs and services. Thanks to the Friends and the Library Board for their support in opening Book & Board Library Lounge.

Book & Board is now open during regular Chandler Downtown Library hours, closing 30 minutes before the library closes.
