Hamilton Library Renovation Project
Dec. 9 - 11 | Limited Service available
Due to the exciting renovations occurring, Hamilton Library will be closed Dec. 9-11. There will be a temporary customer service desk at the entrance offering holds pickup, mobile printing, and library cards. For full library amenities, please visit the Downtown or Basha Libraries.
We are otherwise OPEN during construction, with some restrictions:
- Library events are cancelled Dec. 9-11, except for Hamilton's Puzzle Tournament (registration required.)
- Carpeting and painting will start in mid-November. Areas will be closed and shelves will be moved in sections to accommodate this work.
- Some materials are not available for browsing at this time. Please ask staff for assistance finding relocated materials.
Chandler City Council approved a project agreement that will allow for improvements to begin at Hamilton Library. This project will provide necessary and impactful improvements for library patrons within the Hamilton Library, located at 3700 S. Arizona Ave. The additions to the library include a new multi-purpose program room, four new study rooms, an ADA-compliant welcome desk and self-checkout areas and new circulation and staff workspaces.
