Welcome to ParentTV

Have you ever had a job where you had no experience, no training, you weren’t allowed to quit and people’s lives were at stake?  That’s parenting!

The Chandler Library is excited to introduce you to our newest online resource, ParentTV. ParentTV is a virtual library of parenting videos and activities for ages 0-18. Here you will find experts in their field discussing topics to help parents at all stages of life: pregnancy, baby, toddler, preschool, elementary school, middle school and high school. Have you ever wondered where to look for reliable information and expert advice? Look no further.

For example, registered Phycologist Dr. Vanessa LaPoint discusses separation anxiety in the 7-minute video, Understanding and Dealing with Separation Anxiety. Dr. Lapoint gives four practical and relatable ideas for how to lessen the separation anxiety that most parents face at the beginning of the school year.

ParentTV is available in six languages - Arabic, Cantonese, English, Hindi, Mandarin and Spanish - and is searchable by topic, age or language. Log in with your library card number and PIN for free access - another benefit of your Chandler Public Library card!
