Watch Streaming Video Free – and Ad-Free – with Your Library Card and Kanopy

What do the BBC dramas Father Brown and The Split, the award-winning film Everything Everywhere All at Once, and the children’s favorite Pinkalicious & Peterrific have in common? They’re among last month’s most-watched titles on Kanopy, a free streaming video service from your library. With a focus on foreign and independent film, documentaries, classic films, and learning content including The Great Courses, Kanopy offers video you might not find anywhere else. And it’s all free with your library card – and ad-free, too! Use your library card number and PIN to create a free Kanopy account and get 30 “tickets” per month. Each video takes a different number of tickets to play, except for the children’s content on Kanopy Kids – which is unlimited and ticket-free!

To access Kanopy, start at chandlerlibrary.org and choose Browse the Library > Online Resources > By Name. Scroll down to choose Kanopy. The first time you use Kanopy, use the Add a Library Card button to enter your card number and PIN, then create a Kanopy account. If you’re using the Kanopy app, make sure to choose Get Started and Find Library if you haven’t created a Kanopy account yet.

Can’t make it to the library to get a card? We offer eCards that allow access to all our online resources. If you’re a Maricopa County resident, you can fill out the online form to register for your eCard. See more at our Get a Card page. eCard users can come to the library at any time to upgrade to a full-access card that allows checkout of books and other physical materials.
