Regular storytimes and STEAM programs at all four Chandler Public Library locations will be on a brief hiatus May 6 – 31, 2024. Library staff are busy preparing the next round of storytime and STEAM starting June 1, as well as getting ready for the Summer Reading Challenge**!

Scavenger Hunts: Each month we offer a hunt for different pictures in the children’s areas at all four locations. Kids can win a fun prize! During regular library hours.

Bubbles & Shakers: Kids love bubbles and shaker eggs. Follow up your at-home storytime with this recipe for bubbles! Try this one to make your own shakers from supplies around the house.
A to Z World Food: Try a cooking project at home! Learn about international foods and make one of the recipes.
Seed Library: Check out seeds and grow them at home! Visit the Sunset Library to see what’s available. 3 packets per household per month.

StoryWalk: Take a walk, read a book, and have an adventure! Explore StoryWalk picture book displays with your family at select local parks!
Break Time: Take a look at upcoming programs, classes, aquatics, local parks, and more offered by the City of Chandler.
