Outside the Lines Adult Coloring

We provide coffee, coloring pages, and colored pencils, but feel free to bring your own – and a friend!

Plarn Drop-In
Sunset Library, May 15 at 4 p.m.
Looking to give back while also living more sustainably? Make sleeping mats from recycled plastic bags for our neighbors in need. Plastic + yarn = plarn.

Framing Nature: The Creation of an American Icon at the Grand Canyon

Puzzle Swap
Basha Library, May 18 at 10 a.m.
Bring up to five gently-used, complete puzzles in their original boxes and swap them for some new-to-you masterpieces.

Book Discussion Groups
Various locations and times
We have book groups for a variety of genres and reading tastes, including groups where everyone reads and discusses the same book as well as groups where you can pick your own book on a common theme. Visit our events calendar for full details.

Summer Reading Challenge
June 1 – August 1, pre-registration open now
Don’t forget – grownups can join the Summer Reading Challenge, too, and this year we have special new prizes for adults! Sign up now and start earning points for reading and other library activities starting June 1.

* Please note: Regular children’s storytimes and STEAM programs are on a brief hiatus May 6 – 31 while library staff prepare for the summer. Check out this blog post for ideas to keep the kids busy until June!
