Keep the kids reading during Spring Break and earn free food, too! In-N-Out Burger’s Cover to Cover Club starts March 7 at all four Chandler Public Library locations! For kids ages 4 - 12.
Here's how it works:
- Come to your library to sign up and pick up a reading log. Choose just one library, your home branch or most visited branch, please.
- Start reading! Fill out one line with the title of each book you read.
- After 5 books**, a parent/guardian signs, and you can pick up an award (gift card) for one free hamburger or cheeseburger. You can read up to 15 books for a total of 3 awards. Please pick up your awards at the same library branch where you signed up, and bring the child when you pick up their awards. (While supplies last.)
** Does your child read longer books? You have the option to read 300 minutes to earn a certificate, and up to 900 minutes for a total of 3 awards.
You can pick up your awards as you earn them, or wait until you've read all 15 books/900 minutes, but supplies and awards are limited! The program ends April 18.
Looking for books to read? Check out these Staff Favorites for picture books and junior fiction, or browse all the booklists at our Ages 0-5 or Kids pages.
Bonus! If the kids are also doing the AZ Read 250 reading challenge, all the books they read for the Spring Reading Program count for AZ Read 250! Learn more at this blog post.
