Visit the Chandler Nature Center, where you can enjoy hands-on learning and up-close encounters with living exhibits. Be sure to check out the newest addition, Nature Scope, a digital microscope that makes discovery exciting for all ages. Examine minerals and biological specimens from a hands-on collection and watch as your findings are projected onto a larger wall-mounted screen for everyone to see.
The Center also offers a free "Meet the Snakes" program on June 3, June 5, and July 1 at 3:30 p.m., where you can get up close and personal with Bob the Sonoran Desert Gopher Snake and Elvis the King Snake.
