If you have a Facebook account, you are just moments away from beginning to raise funds for Chandler Public Library. Starting today, you can honor a loved one, or celebrate a birthday or milestone, all benefiting CPL from the Friends of Chandler Public Library’s Facebook page. Facebook charity donations are a quick and easy way to bring programming, library materials and resources, and special events to patrons at Chandler Library.
Fundraising and donations on Facebook are straightforward. When friends and family donate to your fundraiser on Facebook, they receive an email confirmation from the Friends that serves as their Facebook donation receipt, showing that they’ve made a charitable contribution. Facebook covers all the fees so you can be assured that 100% of donations are paid directly to the Friends in support of the Library. Additionally, Facebook fundraiser donations may be tax deductible – tell your friends and family to check with a local tax professional to find out.
