English Tutoring for Adults
Do you need help learning Basic English?
The Chandler Public Library offers FREE small group tutoring for BEGINNING English language learners.
Please use the button below to fill out an application form. After submitting this form, you will be contacted to schedule an in-person English assessment. Based on your results, you may be placed in a class that matches your language level.
Class sessions will run from September to December, and January to April, and meet twice a week for two hours each session.
We look forward to supporting you in building your English skills.
Después de enviar esta forma, nos pondremos en contacto con usted para programar una evaluación de inglés en persona. Basándonos en sus resultados, es posible que se le asigne a una clase que coincida con su nivel de conocimientos del idioma.

Citizenship Workshop
For adults who want to prepare for the U.S. Citizenship interview and written examination FREE of charge. Registration is required.
- Volunteers facilitate a series of weekly discussions designed for adults who want to prepare for the U.S. Citizenship interview and oral examination.
- Participants must be 18 years or older.
- Participants must be able to read, write, speak, and understand basic English.
- Children/guests not permitted
- Workshop will cover U.S. history and government, review of the citizenship exam, and how to complete forms.
