Friends of Chandler Public Library is celebrating National Friends of Libraries Week, October 16-22. This is a perfect time to learn how your Friends support literacy in Chandler. Annual funding from the Friends of Chandler Public Library makes our great library even better. In addition to financial support for many of the Library’s programs and services, the Friends also strive to increase literacy building activities in the community through Library outreach services.

Recently, members of the Friends Board of Directors stayed after a meeting to prepare books for the Community Bookshelves program. Books were prepared for care facilities, a school giveaway event and the Golden Neighbors event for seniors at the Library. Many thanks to the Friends of Chandler Public Library for making so many more things possible in our Library and our community.
