This year, the Friends of the Chandler Public Library celebrate 40 years of supporting CPL's mission. Recently, the Friends of the Library approved over $80,000 in support of CPL programs, services, and staff development for the upcoming fiscal year. This is more than double the support they provided just two years ago. Generous individual donations, workplace giving contributions, memorial and tribute gifts, and of course used book sales, make this support possible. PressReader, Bag of Books, Our Stories, Adult Literacy, Early Literacy, Summer Reading Challenge, Read to Succeed, and many more important Library programs and services receive funding from the Friends of the Chandler Public Library.
