Now at your Chandler Public Library: Auto-renewal!

We're happy to announce that eligible checkouts will now be automatically renewed! Here's what you need to know:

• Auto-renewal will occur 3 days prior to the due date. Auto-renewed items will not lose these three days in the loan period - the new due date will be calculated from the original due date.
• Eligible items will auto-renew up to 4 times. Some items are not eligible:
  • Items with holds will not be renewed.
  • Items that have already been renewed 4 times will not be renewed.
  • If your library card has expired while your items are checked out, then the items will not be renewed.
• You will receive a message (email and/or text depending on the contact preference you selected) indicating both successful and unsuccessful renewals. Please read your message carefully so you know if any items did not renew, and double-check your new due dates.
• Items that cannot be renewed will become overdue on the day after the due date, and will be charged a lost fee on day 15 if not returned.
