@ Your Library: Writer in Residence

Do you have a book in you but you don’t know how to write it? Chandler Public Library is excited to partner with the Arizona State Library for a Writer in Residence opportunity! We welcome USA Today Bestselling Author Deena Remiel as our Writer in Residence from February through April 2023. Author of over 20 published titles, she has over 31 years of experience teaching teens and adults. During her time as a Writer in Residence, she will offer drop-in workshops. She will also provide consultations to help aspiring authors fine-tune their work. All experience levels are welcome.

This workshop is all about the fun of writing flash fiction. Whether it's ten words or a hundred, you can create funny, poignant, thrilling, or mysterious fiction that entertains.

Can't seem to find the time or space to write at home? Is the coffee shop a bit too distracting? Come prepared with your current WIP, and learn how to SPRINT your way to a successful writing session.
