@ Your Library: The Good, the Craft, and the Beautiful

Join us for a family-friendly drop-in event at the Downtown Chandler Library on Saturday, Apr. 16 between 12:30 and 3 p.m., and experience Mexican culture in two different ways. Ballet Folklorico Quetzalli-AZ will be performing dances to celebrate the “colorful tradition of Mexican folkloric dance,” and the amazing Kathy Cano-Murillo of Crafty Chica fame will show us how to make colorful pop-up cards.

Ballet Folklorico Quetzalli-AZ is based in Mesa, AZ, and teaches all ages the dances and associated history from various regions of Mexico. Kathy Cano-Murrillo is a local maker/artist, published writer, and creativepreneur with a website, CraftyChica.com, to inspire through DIY, crafts, culture, and more.
