English language learners - improve your conversation skills and learn about American culture with Talk Time. This English conversation group for adults is free, and it’s held on various days and times at the different Chandler Library locations or online.

Tuesdays at 6 p.m., Downtown Library

Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m., Sunset

Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m., Online *

Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m., Hamilton

Thursdays at 12:30 p.m., Sunset

Fridays at 10:30 a.m., Downtown Library

* Registration is required for the online meeting, and you can register for the date you wish at our Events Calendar.

There is no registration required for the in-person meetings. See all meeting dates.

Talk Time is best for those who speak some English. For more English learning, apply for our Small Group Tutoring. Fill out this form and we will contact you to schedule an assessment test so we can place you in the right class for your learning needs. Please note, space is limited.

You can also learn English online! Mango Languages is free with your library card. See our Language Learning page to visit the Mango Languages website or download the app. Then log in with your library card and PIN numbers. You can create an account with Mango if you want to save your work. Then search for English and choose your mother tongue.
