Teen Summer Volunteering

Do you know someone who is between the ages of 13 and 17 and is interested in volunteering at the Chandler Library during the summer? Teens can attend an overview at one of our four library locations to learn about volunteer opportunities and receive all the necessary information for a great summer experience!

To get started, visit our Volunteer page and scroll down to Teen. Choose your preferred location and fill out the online application first. Then attend an orientation at your location to learn about what you’ll be doing and get on the schedule. Visit our calendar to see the schedule of orientations and register - registration is required. (Note that some orientation dates haven’t opened for registration yet, so watch the calendar carefully!)

Volunteers help us with day-to-day tasks in the library. During the summer, teen volunteers help kids and adults get signed up for the Summer Reading Challenge and explain how the challenge works. Join us to help out with this popular program!
