AARP Tax-Aide helps low to middle-income taxpayers file personal Federal and Arizona State** tax returns for free. Their focus is on taxpayers 50 and older, but there is no age requirement and AARP membership is not required.

Advance appointments are required. Please register here, and see this site for information on how to prepare for your appointment and what documents to bring. (If you need assistance making your appointment, please call 480-818-5437.)

** AARP will not assist with out-of-state returns this year.

VITA Tax Preparation offers free tax help to those who make $60,000 or less in annual income. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing, to qualified individuals.  Assistance is first come, first served. No appointments are necessary.
