Each new year presents an opportunity to learn new skills and grow your career. Chandler Celebrates Unity

Each January, Chandler takes part in the Celebration of Unity honoring our community’s heritage and diversity, along with the spirit and ideals of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and the civil rights movement. Enjoy a month-long celebration of cultural diversity through special guest lectures, art, storytelling, and more.

Be sure to visit the Chandler Downtown Library on Saturday, January 14, for Be the Change - Finding Your Movement, a look at civil rights movements over time and the influence of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Then, head out to join the Chandler Multicultural Festival happening outside the Downtown Library, starting at 11 a.m.

Get water-wise with What Drought Means for Chandler (Jan. 24 at Basha Library). Then watch for our Water Wise Workshops starting in February!

Many thanks to those that supported the Season of Friendship fundraiser in recent weeks. This annual campaign is instrumental in the continuation of annual sponsorship of many of the Library’s programs and services. For 40 years, community members have come together with Friends of Chandler Public Library to ensure our Library is the best it can be. If you haven’t made a gift in support of the Season of Friendship appeal, there is still time. A gift today makes a difference now and well into the future.
