Welcome to Friends of Chandler Library!

Committed, caring, community-minded…

That’s Friends of Chandler Library! It’s an organization of dedicated library advocates who cooperatively support and sponsor many of the library’s programs, services and events. They help increase the library’s visibility and viability with public awareness and with contributions from special events, book sales, membership recruitment and other fundraising activities.

Book Sales at the Library
The Friends of the Chandler Library offer a wonderful selection of used books, DVDs, magazines, and more! These are mostly from donations from individuals, estates, and companies. We also sell items that the Chandler Public Library has removed from their shelves to make room for new purchases.

All book sales take place during normal library hours.

Annual Book Bonanza
In conjunction with the annual Multicultural Festival, the Downtown Library hosts a HUGE used book sale each January. All books are ½ the regular price.

Monthly Book Bargains
Each month we will feature a special on used books that you won't want to miss!
Keep checking the website and Facebook for more information!

All day! Every day!
All four library locations offer year-round used book shopping and is THE place to browse daily for gently used books at bargain prices.

Proceeds from used book sales benefit the Friends of the Chandler Public Library, a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and support the Chandler Public Library in our community.
