Education/GED Preparation Classes
For adult learners who want
Basic Education or GED Test Preparation in a classroom setting |

Classes meet twice a week for
three hours.

Morning or evening classes
available
-
Sessions are approximately 12 weeks.

Class days and times may be
selected after registration and placement testing.

Classes are open to students 16
years and older who are not currently enrolled in high school.
For students age 16 –17, an official withdrawal slip is
required.
-
Proof of
U.S. citizenship or legal residency is required for this
class.

Class openings are limited. Dates
subject to change.

You
will receive information on the Chandler Public Library
Adult Education Services and will be able to make an
appointment for testing and advisement. An advisor
will work with you to determine the services that are best
suited to meet your individual goals. Call Donna at

GED Testing |
- Offered one Saturday a month at the Downtown Chandler Library
- Done on first come, first serve basis.
- You must be at least 16 years of age and withdrawn
from school in order to take the GED test.
- Bring two forms of ID such as a driver’s license AND
a social security card or birth certificate.
- If you are under 18 years of age, you will also need to
bring a withdrawal form from your last school of attendance, AND
a notarized letter from your parent or guardian giving their
permission for you to take the test. Sample

A twenty-hour Tutor Training Workshop is required
prior to being matched with a student. Tutor Training Workshops are
scheduled quarterly and sessions are held on Saturdays and in the
evenings. During this training you will learn how to teach someone to
improve their reading and writing skills. Call 480-782-2815 to be placed

information.
